Position is Commission Based

Job Description

The Property Consultant will report to the Senior Property Consultant (to be recruited). In the interim the Property Consultant will report to the Chief Commercial Officer – Office & Residential Division.
 
The Property Consultant duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
 
  • Developing strong relations with Landlords of Properties in the Market, in order to secure non-exclusive mandates, and, where possible, exclusive mandates. To maintain these relations through a high level of service, expertise, professionalism and integrity;
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with Clients in order to act on their behalf in acquiring Properties in the Market. To maintain these relations through a high level of service, expertise, professionalism and integrity; 
  • Maintaining regular contact with Landlords ensuring they are fully informed of any potential interest in their Properties from Clients;
  • Maintaining regular contact with Clients and introducing, in a timely manner, any suitable Properties that may from time to time come available and furnish the Client with as much information as possible regarding the Properties;
  • Generally maintaining regular contact with Landlords and Clients through telephone calls, emails and face to face meetings to ensure their complete satisfaction with the service being provided and to immediately address and resolve any concerns or issues;
  • Responding promptly to all Client and Landlord enquiries and address and offer advice in a professional manner in accordance with the Employer’s high standards;
  • Sourcing details of available Properties from Landlords then liaising and coordinating with the administration team (herein referred to as “Administration”) to ensure all information is regularly uploaded into the Employer’s website and CRM system;
  • Maintaining an active and comprehensive database of Clients who are seeking to lease good quality Properties in the Market. To liaise and coordinate with Administration to ensure this information is regularly uploaded into the Employer’s CRM system;
  • Maintaining a record of all viewings and interest shown in any Properties in the Market;
  • Reporting to, and seeking instructions from, the Senior Property Consultant, as frequently as necessary in relation to all material matters pertaining to the role;
  • Attending regular meetings to discuss and update the Senior Property Consultant and Residential Brokerage Department Team on current leasing activity including, but not limited to, past transactions; potential transactions in the pipeline; current transactions; fee/billing activity; advice on the prevailing real estate conditions in the Market, specifically regarding residential leasing activity including demand (from companies, government agencies, individuals, etc.) and supply (new projects, newly available units, etc.) characteristics;
  • Preparing such other reports and providing such other information as the Senior Property Consultant may reasonably require from time to time;
  • Maintaining research highlighting the prevailing conditions and current trends of the residential leasing in the Market;
  • Conducting professional viewings with Clients of Landlord’s Properties and documenting and reporting to the Senior Property Consultant all subsequent feedback from Clients and Landlords. Liaise with Landlords to set up viewings, where necessary collecting keys, access cards or similar, to the Properties and ensure, as far as reasonably possible, the Property is secured;
  • Ensuring the Senior Property Consultant is kept informed of all viewings, meetings and interest shown in any Properties;
  • Preparing legally binding lease agreements in the Employer’s pre-agreed format (if required by the Landlord) or government issued contracts, if necessary;
  • Conducting official handover of any Property with Clients and formally document the process;
  • Within 12 hours of receipt, delivering all payments to the correct parties properly accounted for in accordance with the Employer’s Finance Department’s procedures;
  • Collecting hard copies of all documents, where appropriate, from Clients and Landlords, and furnish the Administration team with said documents for archiving;
  • Any other duties that may be necessary for the proper management of the Employer’s Residential Brokerage Department.
Other Requirements:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good knowledge of the Abu Dhabi residential real estate market;
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Team Player.
  • Valid UAE Driver’s License;
  • Available Car;
  • Speaks clear and good English;
  • Presentable.
